Thank you to Indiana Humanities for making it possible for Indiana author John David Anderson to come to Stephen Foster Elementary and get our students excited about reading and writing. Third, fourth and fifth graders learned four reasons writers write. Sixth grade students participated in a Writer's Workshop led by Mr. Anderson. Thanks again Indiana Humanities for this wonderful opportunity.

Mr. Anderson is a recipient of the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award. The program was made possible by a grant from the Glick Fund, a fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation.
